China overland/multi-modal freight (NBS, via chinadata.live)
The AIS feed only sees the sea leg — this is the overland context: national freight volume, freight turnover, and railway network mileage.
Kpler cargo activity (real port-call events)
Real per-shipment vessel/product/quantity/location events from Kpler's cargo API — a genuinely different source from the uploaded trade-flow exports above, not a live vessel-tracking feed (Kpler access here doesn't include that). Negative tons = cargo arriving/discharging at that location; positive = loading/departing — verified against real known ports (Australian Pilbara export terminals average positive, Chinese import ports average negative), not an explicit field Kpler provides.

Satellite imagery search (Planet Labs)
Real PlanetScope (~3m, daily) and SkySat (~0.5m, tasked -- carries a real pansharpened product) archive search over any watchlist port. Not a map basemap -- these are individually searched, dated scenes.
